What data we collect, and why
- Contact form and email. When you write to us we receive your name, firm, email address, type of organisation and your message. We use them only to reply to you and to follow up on your request. We do not use them for newsletters or marketing without your consent, and we do not sell or share them. Where the EU GDPR applies, the legal basis is the handling of your request before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Technical data. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the time of the request, to deliver the pages and keep the site secure. Where the GDPR applies, the legal basis is our legitimate interest in a secure, working website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking tools.
In the contact form, your name and email address are needed so that we can reply; the other fields are optional. We do not use automated decision-making or profiling.
Service providers and transfers abroad
We rely on the following providers, who process data on our behalf:
- Netlify, Inc. (USA): website hosting and receipt of contact-form messages. Netlify filters form messages for spam, using the Akismet service of Automattic, Inc. (USA).
- Google (Google Workspace): our email service, where your messages and our replies are stored.
- Adobe, Inc. (USA): Adobe Fonts delivers the typeface used on this site. Your browser connects to Adobe's servers, which receive your IP address and count page views for font licensing. Adobe Fonts does not set cookies.
Some of these providers may process data in the United States or other countries. Where those countries do not offer a level of protection recognised as adequate by Switzerland or the EU, transfers rely on the Swiss-US and EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep data
We delete messages that do not lead to a business relationship at the latest 24 months after our last exchange. Business correspondence and records are kept for as long as Swiss law requires, generally 10 years (Art. 958f of the Swiss Code of Obligations). Technical data is kept by our hosting provider only for a short period for security purposes.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP/nDSG) and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to its processing, restrict it or receive a copy of it. Write to info@paretoservices.com. You may also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the EU, the data protection authority of your country.
